LOVE TO QUILT CHALLENGE 2026

Do you want FREE QUILT TOP FABRIC & PATTERN (and have us finish your quilt for FREE?!) Yes?! Then THIS is the perfect challenge for you!

Turn in your quilt or project by Thursday, Feb. 19th at 5 pm for a gift certificate to reimburse you for your quilt top fabric & pattern (purchased from our shop)! Size of quilt does not matter. You will receive FREE labor on longarm services (and we'll sew on your binding, too)!

1) BONUS - We will finish your quilt (or table topper/runner or wall hanging) when you turn it in by 2/19/26 at 5 pm. Does not include batting, backing & binding fabric purchased from our shop.

2) All fabric for the top and your pattern is 100% your choice (from our in-stock inventory).

3) We'll provide our expertise and finish it with a lovely longarm design (if you have a special request on longarm pattern, please let us know in writing when you turn in your project). We will try our best to accommodate.

4) Have an idea that's not a quilt or table runner? We're open to your fresh project ideas! Let's discuss special requests early - visit us to learn more!

5) We will display your finished project during our spring and summer events. Your project may be picked up beginning Aug. 3rd at our shop.

6) SMILE! Your photo with the quilt top or project will be taken at drop off for social media.

7) LABEL - Fill out a label with your name, pattern name and designer (or brand) & fabric collection name and pin it securely to the front.

EXAMPLE:

  • If you make a 60" x 80" quilt top, it is 3.70 square yards (approximately $130 for the quilting alone). This part is FREE to you. It does not include batting or backing.
  • You will need to purchase high-quality batting from our shop. The example of a 60" x 80" quilt top requires a Twin size batting package. Prices vary from $25-33. Example - Warm & Natural Twin 72" x 90" - Item #1283 from our inventory.
  • You will need to provide the backing fabric and binding fabric (purchased from our shop). You may have enough fabric left from the quilt top to make yourself a cute pieced backing, or we have a lovely selection of 108" wide back fabrics. NOTE - batting AND backing must be 4" extra on each side.(All piecing needs to be done by the participant to the correct size for the top. Our expert team will do the longarming and binding for you).
  • Enjoy our free labor + FREE quilt top fabrics! You just need to meet the deadline of 2/19/26.
  • SHOW IT OFF! We get to borrow your lovely project to display at events (and in the shop)!
  • SAMPLE FUN! Your quilt should display the pattern name & brand, fabric collection name, etc.

Zig-Zag Corner Survey Results!

Take a look at our Zig-Zag Corner Quilts Survey Results! It was fascinating and informative to review the survey results that our daughter Victoria compiled for her AP Psychology class! We're so proud of her as she wraps up her senior year of high school!   A survey was sent out through weekly newsletters and social media for several weeks and 73 customers responded. This provided helpful feedback on the customer service of Zig-Zag Corner Quilts & Baskets! Question Results: The first question on the survey was “How did you hear about us?”. The majority of responses (34.2%) selected "online" and the fewest responses were "newspaper ads" at 5.5%. Of the 11% who chose "other", it's expected that some of those surveyed may have simply noticed the large business sign while driving along State Road 234.
